The effects of soil, weather, altitude, and agricultural practices result in variation of bean density, water retention, and chemical composition. Moreover, the methods of processing, drying, and sorting each render coffee unique to its specific home, its source, or “origin.”

In 2008, Mary Burgdorff purchased Molly’s Gluten-Free Bakery in Pewaukee, WI as a way to help those who struggle with a gluten-free diet. Inspired by her son, who was diagnosed with Celiac disease in 1997, she knows how difficult it is to find good gluten-free breads and other bakery items. “Molly’s” Bakery, affectionately named after a little girl with Celiac disease, was purchased from Bill Hansen (life-long baker and grandfather of Molly).
For the past four years, Mary’s made the bakery her own by living out her mission to make each person who deals with Celiac disease feel normal with every gluten-free item she bakes. She prides herself in gluten-free products that look great, and taste great. Why? Because they should. Dinner time shouldn’t mean feeling like the only one with a plate of different food. School lunches should still include your favorite PB&J. And a happy birthday should include a delicious cake.
Located in Jefferson, WI Bon Ton bakery has been open for more than 100 years.
Bon Ton Bakery; a French named bakery, owned by English and German descendents. “Bon” meaning “good” and “Ton” meaning “your;” and when put together in the French language it reads “Your Good” Bakery. While the name Bon Ton wasn’t used until 1917, the building in which it is housed, has been a bakery since, at least, 1893.
Since opening, Bon Ton is still run by the remaining two generations that continue to hold the business in position that will carry them well into its next 100 years.
